SmartWear - An Integrated Watch for Patients

The edge cutting technologies like IoT-Internet of Things and Cloud computing transforms the world with the production of smart devices. Health care and control of home appliances proves to be an area of concern when it comes to personalization and safety of the user such that it can be operated and carried easily by them. The development in technology has paved the way to smart devices, in which smart wearable field is growing at rapid pace. The proposed idea is to integrate a wearable device with home automation and health care, which make user's life smarter and easier. SmartWear has three main features, home automation, health monitoring and integration of these two features. It makes the patient comfortable by keep track of the healthy life and automating their surroundings. This SmartWear monitors thepatient's heart rate and in case of any uncommon health state, instantly data is sent to the trusted contact of that patient along with the GPS location. Also surrounding atmosphere can be adjusted according to the patient's body conditions. It aids in controlling the home appliances and monitoring the health of the patient in a singlesystem. IoT, Cloud and Voice recognition can be used for health monitoring and homeautomation. Integration of these two in done using cloud protocol. It allows the patients to automate for their own comfort care without others dependency.
