Performance Evaluation of LoRaWAN in Pulse Status Monitoring with Clustering of Wireless Sensor Network

LoRa and LoRaWAN are Chirps or CSS-based R.F. technology used for Radar technology. LoRa capabilities are transmitting sensors and multi-sensors over a long distance of >5 km in Line of Sight with Low Power using only a battery that can last up to 1 year. The sensor used in this research is a pulse sensor. In this research, a prototype has been completed and placed on the human body by sending Pulse sensor (bpm) data. But not only that, LoRa was created not only for M to M or Peer to Peer but also on a mesh basis with many end nodes with scattered positions, so a clustering approach is needed if the end nodes are scattered. This manuscript analyzes the possibility of clustering LoRaWAN end-nodes and how best is the most suitable or effective clustering method to build LoRaWAN technology. From clustering HEED is the best method to get average total power consumption (mW) with LoRaWAN approach.
