Competences for Young People to Become Successful Entrepreneurs - As Seen by Teachers

Nano, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are the most important players in the Hungarian economy. They are at the forefront of employment, so their long-term success is particularly important. The vast majority of businesses have to cope with a number of constraints. Lack of expertise and financing problems are challenges that drive entrepreneurial success in a negative direction. Education is the key to future prosperity. For those professions where entrepreneurship is an indispensable activity, the necessary skills must be taught from secondary education onwards. This paper presents the results of research carried out in the framework of an international project (NICE), examining the competences needed to run a successful business through the eyes of the teachers.
