Analysis of innovation phases in the different AM future scenarios

Additive Manufacturing (AM) comprises a range of technologies. AM converges also with Artificial Intelligence technologies. In all these technologies innovations are created continuously. The European project IAMRRI (GA 788361) investigated the innovation value chains in AM, developed an agent-based model and simulation for innovation value chains in AM and identified the openings for Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). A foresight and stakeholder involvement exercise developed different future scenarios for AM. The innovation phases of these different future scenarios are analysed and assessed here regarding their actors, collaboration & networks, and innovation ideas, and regarding their RRI implementation. The results are useful for the agent-based simulation model.
