Prospects and Challenges of the Cloud of Things in Telemedicine

Several works have intensive on modeling telemedicine smart by merging the Internet of Things (IoT) with cloud computing technology to produce what is called the Cloud of Things (CoT). Cloud of Things (CoT) has grown as the greatest promising technology in academics and industry for novelty. Cat assists numerous developing sectors such as health, energy, smart home, and vehicle. IoT devices are playing an important role in patient health monitoring. Some connected devices are assisting in the creation of smart hospitals, improving patients’ lives, and improving the conditions of care for the elderly in areas where patient care mechanisms can be improved. This study discusses the concept of integrated health care with CoT and its current position in this direction. In addition, it supplements the literature with a systematic review covering the location of the technology in a home or hospital. It also presents the most important classification of challenges and issues that impede the advancement of this technology.
