Optimal Radiation Sequence Arrangement For Low Probability of Intercept

Both low probability of intercept (LPI) capacity and tracking capacity are important issues for modern radars. However, there usually exists a trade-off between these capacities. To solve the trade-off, the problem of radiation control is studied and the optimal radiation sequence arrangement is provided. This paper reveals the upper bound of the tracking performance under the condition of a given LPI capacity, which shows some remarkable significance for engineering applications.
