Design of gap detection system between platform sreen doors and train based on laser radar

Gap detection system is installed on the platform of intercity railway and high-speed railway station, which is used to detect whether there are foreign objects or passengers stranded in the passage between the platform screen door and the train. Based on the analysis of existing detection technologies, a detection scheme based on laser radar is proposed in this paper. Through the platform test, the system can correctly detect the intrusion state of passengers or foreign objects. Finally, the detection performance, real-time performance and reliability of the system are analyzed. The results show that the system meets the operational requirements and can be popularized in the industry.
