Impact of Autonomy Days in Microgrid Sizing

This paper studies the effect of autonomy days on the sizing of microgrid systems so as to identify the most reliable and lowest cost configuration. Indeed, the proposed approach is based on a reliable criterion and two economic criteria; the DPSP (Deficiency of Power Supply Probability), the TNPC (Total Net Present Cost) and the EC (Energy Cost). Real metrological data such as wind and insolation are used. All the acquired results are confirmed by using a Matlab simulation.
