Study of Solar Photovoltaic Rooftop System for 1300 VA Residential Load Connected to Grid in Sukabumi

The requirement for energy is growing every day. It provides an alternative energy source. Several full answers to the expanding energy needs are available, with renewable energy being one. This encourages decreasing global carbon emissions, reducing adverse environmental effects. It also lessens fossil fuel demand and the grid's stress. The use of solar energy is growing in importance and will be crucial to maintaining current energy production levels. Solar energy generation has vast implication sand is more cost-effective than fossil fuels. Rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems wired into the grid supply energy to the grid and generate power from PV modules to meet individual needs. The housing industry is going through an energy crisis due to load shedding on the grid. This study shows the optimal PV roof configuration for a family using 1300 VA and its economic advantages. Comparative studies of on-grid PV systems were also conducted. The optimum PV systems are built using the HOMER (Hybrid Optimization of Multiple Renewable Electricity) programs. With an outline of the HOMER PRO configuration, this study intends to make a renewable energy innovation that the community can accept in terms of effective power savings and long-term expenses with the use of solar energy through solar panels. The findings of this study show how the energy obtained will support all the energy provided by PLN.
