Network Propagation Loss Models: Effects and Classification

A vehicular ad-hoc network, also known as a VANET is a subtype of the mobile ad-hoc network or MANET. Better traffic management is achieved with VANET technology. which facilitates communication between vehicles and between vehicles and base stations along the road in order to promote effective and secure transportation. In the VANET, a vehicle is viewed as an intelligent mobile node that can communicate with its neighbors and other moving objects. VANET has problems with efficient search procedures, network paths to maintain, and data transmission problems due to different road conditions and increased vehicular traffic. In VANET networks without central control, you define routing in advance and produce routes as needed. In the simulation, TowRay Ground, ItuRl411, and the Friss diffusion model were used. Average throughput, packet delivery rate, and end-to-end delay were measured to see the filing of each model, and compared, data entered the device classification language. The result shows that ITU R-P.1411 model performs better than other models in terms of throughput, low E2E and high packet delivery delay under some conditions, such as changing simulation time and data rate transmission. The machine learning models used to identify the models show an accuracy of 98.2%.
