MGF based Analysis of Interference Limited System over Fisher-Snedecor Fading Channels

The analysis of Fisher Snedecor fading under single user interference is presented in this paper. First of all, the expressions of probability density function (PDF) and moment generating function (MGF) in the term of signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) are derived. Using derived MGF, the expressions of average bit error rate (ABER) for basic binary modulation schemes are derived. The error rate result are shown for various multipath fading and shadowing environment condition with desired and interferer link. The proposed MGF based results are compared with existing PDF based results that show excellent agreement.
