The Role of Management Technology and Innovation Strategy in Business Strategy based on a User Perspective

Competition in the industrial world is getting tougher with the emergence of new innovations in the fields of technology and production so this demands increasingly fierce and dynamic competition. The competitive advantage of the business is determined by the success of the organization in increasing the quality of production to build competence in the vision, mission, strategy, and management system. In the era of information technology, technology management capabilities and innovation in business are increasingly important factors. Rapid development requires every business organization to build appropriate technology and innovation management competencies as quickly as possible. Business units need a strategic orientation. Business competition is a race to produce and provide better for consumers, therefore a business strategy and innovation strategy are needed. This study is to examine the user's perspective related to business strategy and innovation strategy on the role of technology management. Important elements of successful technology management include value orientation; system quality; management commitment, organizational factors; and competence.
