Properties, processing and applications of indium phosphide

Indium Phosphide is a III-V compound semiconductor of increasing importance in high-speed electronics and optoelectronics. It is timely that a new and revised volume in the data reviews series has been published with Prof. T.P. Pearsall, a well-known worker in the field and author of a book on InGaAsP, as the editor. An earlier volume (No. 6) on InP in the same series was published in 1991 and has proved useful to all researchers in the field. The present volume is much more compact, comprising seven chapters with 289 pages, compared with the earlier version, which had 18 chapters and was about 200 pages longer. However, most of the useful data is preserved, the contents being rearranged and brought up-to-date. Important new additions have also been made as discussed below.
