A Novel and Simple Decoupling Method for a Three-Element Antenna Array

A new and simple method to enhance the port isolation of a three-element planar antenna array is presented. Elimination of nonadjacent coupling coefficient is accomplished without the need of a bridge element. Measured results indicate that the proposed method can offer improved port isolation as well as radiation pattern diversity near center frequency.
