Periodic steady state solution of electric systems with nonlinear components using parallel processing

This paper introduces a very efficient methodology for obtaining the periodic steady state solution of electric systems with nonlinear components. It combines the benefits of the fast time domain solution using Newton techniques for the acceleration of the convergence of state variables to the limit cycle (LC) with the application of parallel processing based on the parallel virtual machine (PVM) platform.
