Diffraction phenomena at the transversal edges of corner reflector antenna of arbitrary apex angle

On the basis of the uniform geometrical diffraction theory (UGTD) method the author analyzes the influence of diffraction effects at the transversal edges of a corner reflector on the main polarization field amplitudes in the broadside direction of the antenna. It is calculated as a function of the dipole-to-corner spacing and reflecting surfaces sizes of the corner with different apex angles.
