Current situation of China's thermal power generation equipment and its development perspective

In this paper, the current manufacturing situation of China's thermal power generation equipment industry is described. The evolution of this industry in the past 50 years, including its development and manufacture, is also involved. Facing the the high-speed development trend of China's power construction work as stipulated in the 9th Five-Year Plan and the Development Outline of Long & Medium Term Target by the year 2010, the development strategy and some practical measurements are proposed.
