Minimal delay realization of first order 2-D all-pass digital filters

A method is proposed to realize a first-order 2-D all-pass transfer function with two delays and six multipliers. Stability constraints on the coefficients of first-order 2-D filters are used to guarantee the existence of real-gain multipliers for the realized filter.
