Flexible simulation tool for planning and optimization of decentralized power systems with renewables based sources and energy storage

A flexible simulation tool for decentralized electric/thermal power systems was developed. It is easy to parameterize and provides a comfortable operational surface, allowing to interactively "operate" the particular system under investigation. The characteristic components and features of the simulation tool are described and examples of the performance given.
