Out-of-band characteristics of the panel antenna

On the basis of computer modeling the out-of-band characteristics of the panel antenna, consisting of 4 vertical half-wave dipoles and flat metal reflector are investigated. The dependencies of the maximum values of the directivity and of the antenna gain in out of operating frequency range were obtained. Based on these results it is concluded that the determination of the conditions are ensuring EMC in out-of operating frequency band is required strict accounting of the frequency dependence of the input impedance of the antenna.
