Workshop: Using Mobile Computing for Learning and Sharing in the Post Web Era

The focus of this workshop is to highlight the recent advances in mobile computing and to inform participants in the emerging mobile technologies such as movement detection, geo-location, near field technologies, augmented reality, social media integration and massive collaboration that are becoming popular in smart-phones and tablet computers. Recent advances as well as privacy concerns, layers of control in a mobile world, mobile development platforms and tools will be investigated and possible new approaches to new and better ways of mobile development will be discussed. Workshop will be concluded by discussing future of mobile computing and its further impact and integration with day to day activities beyond simple communication such as learning and sharing.
