Polarization of a plane wave scattered by an array of cylinders

The theory of TE- and TM-wave scattering by an array of conducting and dielectric cylinders is investigated using a combination of an iterative scattering procedure and the orthogonal expansion method. Polarization parameters of the scattered plane wave are derived in the near and the far fields.
