Analysis and application of compact form ADI-FDTD method to substrate and interconnect simulation

In this paper, we present the analysis and applications of a compact form alternating-direction-implicit (ADI)-FDTD method. Guided by the results from accuracy analyses, this method is applied to simulate the propagation characteristics of multi-conductor transmission lines over substrate.
