A rotor time constant evaluation for vector-controlled induction motor drives

The online identification method for the rotor time constant of an induction machine is derived from the steady-state analysis of the machine space vectors. The indirect field orientation system is simulated to verify the convergence of the method in quasi-steady-state operation, independent of the initial controller parameters.<
