Dependable communication middleware for residential electrical installations

The domestic consumer has to take advantage of the opportunities from the liberalized energy markets and this calls for technological support, without which the changes threaten to remain rather theoretical. In the following we describe a proposed ICT solution for the communication in the new intelligent electrical residential installations.
