Research on Reliability of Network Data Transmission in Substation Area Protection

The reliability of the network transmission hold great significance for the network sampling and tripping technology of intelligent substation secondary equipment. In this paper, based on the analysis of redundancy mode's impact on the power system, the distinction between different redundancy mode and network mode of the process level are described in detail, then the intelligent substation system redundancy design scheme is put forward to achieve the network sampling and tripping in process level. Furthermore, the paper adopts the static multicast management to optimize process level transmit traffic as well as reduce the influence between different data transmission flow.
