Carbon Nanotube Fiber Cathodes and Saturation of their Field Emission Current:

Several different types of carbon nanotube fiber cathodes of different diameters (20, 40, 400 μm) were measured for emissive properties. Currents up to 1.5 mA are obtained. Durability properties were qualitatively estimated. Current "saturation" was observed for 20-μm fiber, probably due to resistivity.
