Research on 5G Wireless Communication Bearer Differential Protection Service

The differential protection technology of the distribution network based on 5G communication can realize the rapid and accurate isolation of the distribution network fault, and is not affected by the distributed energy and the operation mode of the grid. It can reduce the user's power outage time and improve the reliability of power supply. This paper proposes a differential protection architecture for distribution networks based on 5G technology and differential protection logic in different situations. The analysis of the system time delay in the differential protection of the distribution network is also analyzed. And established and proposed a 5G-based distribution network differential protection delay model and delay optimization solutions.
