High-Current Pulsed Vacuum Arc in Coaxial Electrode System

This paper contains the results of the high- current vacuum arc study. Plasma ions scatter diagrams were obtained. A current pulse with a duration of 15 μs and with a maximum of 6 μs was used to produce the arc. Also, in this work, plasma flow was studied at 3 different distances from the plasma source. From the obtained results, it can be assumed that nonlinear solitary waves exist in the plasma.
