A Method to Design A Power Flow and Energy Management Controller for Battery and EDLC Hybrid Electric Vehicle

In this paper, a method to design the power flow and energy management controller is proposed, for a hybrid energy storage system with battery and EDLC on an assumed electric vehicle. Numerical simulation under an assumed speed profile is carried out to reveal the power and the energy profile of the ESDs under the wide frequency range of the load power.
