Modern Control Methode of Dual PMS in-Wheel Electric Engines for Vehicular Drive Using Five-Leg Inverter

In order to optimize the volumes of devices and inserted components in traction systems powered by several electric motors, an attractive decrease can be achieved by employing a unique inverter that simultaneously feeds several motors. In this study, we look for to force autonomous control on each in-wheel-engine employing a multi-engine arrangement to improve the stability of all-wheel-drive's electric vehicle in critical situations (oversteer or understeer). The most commitment of our study is to propose a new control for an electric vehicle (EV) prepared with two sets of bi-IPMS in-wheel engines associated in parallel and provided by a single inverter, one on the front hub and one on the rear hub. The purpose of the proposed control technique is to replicate the behavior of a mechanical differential by imposing independent control on each in-wheel motor. The simulation of the framework utilizing Matlab/Simulink program appears that this new control technique could guarantee great flow of the framework driving of electric vehicle.
