Method for a Simplified Calculation of Inverter-Related Losses in Servomotors Based on Impedance Measurement

This paper deals with the calculation of inverter-related motor losses. A known method to determine these losses is extended and possible simplifications are examined. Using normalized parameters a formulation is found which allows a simplified estimation of the losses in project planing.
