Design and simulation analysis of ultrasonic extrusion transducer

In order to meet the high requirements for wear resistance, fatigue resistance and mating of parts surface by high-end equipment in aerospace and automotive industries, ultrasonic vibration extrusion strengthening processing method is adopted. For the current market popular ultrasonic vibration extrusion equipment to obtain a better surface processing effect at the same time damage the original coaxiality of the parts, the analysis found that its tool assembly stiffness is large, easy to make the workpiece in the extrusion process to produce a certain deformation. We developed a piezoelectric ceramic ultrasonic vibration processing system with less rigidity and adjustable static extrusion pressure, and analyzed the influence of each processing parameter on the surface roughness of the workpiece through experiments; we verified that the surface roughness and hardness were effectively improved after ultrasonic vibration extrusion, and the coaxiality was consistent.
