Iterative Recurrence Model for Calculating Effectiveness of Defense in the Multiple Shooting Mode

A lot of military problems can be abstracted as a shooting battle problem for the defense weapons (red) to defend against the offense targets (blue). Firstly, under the shoot-shoot strategy, the projectile allocation method for the red to gain the maximum effectiveness of defense (ED) was proposed when the numbers of defense projectiles and offense targets were given. Secondly, under the salvo-look-salvo strategy, considering the factors such as shooting times and salvo size, the iterative recurrence generation method was proposed for calculating the ED of multiple shootings from the red. Simulation analysis was then performed to verify the proposed method and discuss the inherent law.
