Implementation of an intelligent target detection system for edge node

With the rapid development of the artificial intelligence industry, the application of object detection technology in real life is becoming increasingly widespread, such as intelligent monitoring, autonomous driving, and augmented reality. In this paper, object detection system is deployed on edge devices which is low complexity and low-cost device such as the Raspberry Pi. Implement Mobilenet-SSD based on the deep learning framework and deploy on edge devices, such as image acquisition, object detection and result display. The results show that the object detection technology can also be achieved on devices with scarce computing resources such as the Raspberry Pi and satisfies actual business requirements.
