Research on Application of EPA Real-Time Industrial Ethernet in Ship Control Network

The existing ship platform monitoring systems generally use can bus as the control network. The bus network has the disadvantages of small bandwidth, low transmission rate, difficult expansion and poor versatility, which is difficult to meet the application requirements of integrated platform monitoring, management and control in the development of ship informatization. In order to realize the integrated integration of ship platform control network, this paper proposes an application scheme of building ship platform integrated control network by using EPA real-time industrial Ethernet technology. By analyzing the transmission requirements of platform application business for control network, combined with the technical characteristics of EPA real-time industrial Ethernet, and taking typical ship application as background, the topology of platform integrated control network is analyzed The corresponding suggestions are given for the key problems such as structure, equipment composition, networking mode and communication scheduling mode, which can provide reference for the design and application of ship integrated control network.
