A Repairing Work on Antenna Radiation Pattern Measurement Based on Artificial Neural Network

This paper introduced several repairing works on a defection of antenna measurement instrument based on artificial neural network (ANN). In some antenna measurement systems, the turntable makes no space for probe at the bottom of the measurement system, leading to a depressed measured gain below the radiation pattern. The gain data measured by the probes on the top of the system are used as the target to train the ANN which is used for repairing the measurement with probe below. The result shows that the repairing work is antenna-related and further work is expected. In addition, the simulation data are used to assist the repairing task and it can work effectively on a specific antenna. But it didn’t solve the defection of the antenna measurement system radically.
