The Locally-corrected Nyström Method: Progress and Challenges

The locally-corrected Nystrom method is a refinement of the classical Nystrom approach from the 1930s. It offers advantages over other approaches for high accuracy electromagnetic field computations. In this presentation we review the progress that has been made in applying the approach to realistic problems in electromagnetics and attempt to identify some of the current challenges in doing so.
