Aminiaturized device for detecting defects of porcelain insulators based on high-level impulse voltage breakdown

Porcelain insulators with internal defects can cause power system accidents. Existing methods for detecting internal defects of porcelain insulators are susceptible to environmental interference, and the detection results can have large errors. This paper introduces the development of a miniaturized detecting device, which is based on the high-level impulse voltage wave. This device has high accuracy according to the test results.
