Impact of Hydroxy Gas for CO2 Emission Reduction in Diesel Car Engine

This report examines the problem of the possibilities for reducing harmful emissions generated by diesel engines by adding hydroxy (oxy-hydrogen) gas to the fuel mixture. The presented study was carried out on a car with a diesel engine running at perfect idle mode. Emission levels of carbon oxide, nitrogen monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, total carbon and volatile organic compounds were monitored using a gas analyzer. The temperature of the exhaust gases as well as the levels of the exhaust oxygen were also monitored.
