A New Single Stage Quadratic Buck-Boost Inverter

In this paper, a new single stage buck-boost inverter (BBI) called quadratic buck boost inverter (QBBI) was proposed for an enhanced voltage gain. The proposed inverter has merged the dc-dc converter stage and the dc-ac inverter stage into a single power stage. The proposed inverter has merits compared to other single stage inverters in terms of the voltage gain and component count. The principal operation of the proposed inverter is presented. Also the proposed topology has been tested experimentally to verify the performance of the proposed topology.
