Control of Single-Phase Grid Connected Inverter Using Proportional Resonant Control Algorithm for Solar Water Pumping System

The generation of Solar energy and its conversion techniques gained greater importance as the Photo Voltaic (PV) power generation scheme is more striking due to its advantages among all the Renewable Energy Sources. This paper introduces a single step grid linked solar water pumping system. Grid interactive PV generation allows efficient use of resources and a stable water pumping system. As a result, grid interactive PV generation is used to achieve maximum resource utilization and a reliable water pumping system. The proportional–resonant controller outperforms the Proportional Integral (PI) controller in terms of steady-state efficiency. The tracking of a PV array's maximum power point (MPP), as well as power quality mitigations and achieving THD within IEEE-519 standards. In MATLAB / Simulink, the proposed topology is modeled.
