Improving the Quality of Telemedicine Diagnostic Imaging in Otolaryngology

Current conditions require the receipt of timely and high-quality medical diagnostic information, especially in the conditions of remote diagnostics in case of emergencies or epidemics. The use of modern telecommunication technologies, together with new methods in the processing and presentation of medical diagnostic video information, can satisfy these requirements in a wide range of medical diagnoses, which is typical for these conditions. The authors analyze the possibility of improving the quality of telemedicine diagnostic imaging for various diagnostic tasks. As an example for analyzing the problem, the possibility of improving visual diagnostic methods in otorhinolaryngology was considered.
