Study on Refractive Index Distribution Measurement of Self-focusing Lens with Mach-Zehnder Interferometry

In this paper, a Mach-Zehnder Interferometry is designed and setup to measure the refractive index of a self-focusing lens. Interference fringe patterns with different ion exchange degrees are investigated and simulated at first. Experimental interference fringe patterns are collected and analyzed by Matlab. The refractive index distribution curve of the self-focusing lens is finally obtained to easily assess the ion exchange status.
