Design of Large Travel Displacement Automatic Measuring System Based on Hall Quadrature Sensor

Automatic and accurate displacement measurement is the key and difficult point in large travel positioning of winding system. A novel large travel displacement automatic measuring system based on Hall quadrature sensor is proposed and designed. The proposed system is mainly composed of Hall quadrature gear rotational speed sensor, measuring target gear, Arduino Nano micro-controller unit, PC and so on. It can simultaneously realize automatic measurement of large travel displacement of winding system and online monitoring of rotational speed and linear velocity. The designed automatic displacement measurement mechanism is simple and compact, which has high accuracy, high reliability, strong environment adaptability and better performance price ratio, can be applied to low speed and zero speed motion control system.
