Research on Day-ahead Optimal Dispatch Considering the Mutual Constraint of Pumped Storage Unit

The pumped storage power station is the most widely used energy storage device, which can form an optimized scheduling scheme in conjunction with new energy. It can mitigate the impact of randomness and suddenness of new energy on the stability of the power system. Based on the large deviation of medium and long - term experience dispatching, this paper introduces the day-ahead power market and constructs the day-ahead optimal dispatching model including pumped storage power station. Taking the maximization of the system operation comprehensive benefit as the objective function, in addition to the consideration of conventional constraints, the mutual constraints among units of the pumped storage power station are considered. The method of mixed-integer linear programming is applied to solve the problem by mature commercial software package GLPK. The rationality of the model is verified by a provincial power grid with 4 pumped storage units.
