An Energy-Balanced Multi-hop Transmission Routing Algorithm for Linear Wireless Sensor Networks

In order to extend the life cycle of the mine underground wireless detection equipment network, reduce the energy consumption of the wireless sensor network. A suitable for linear network topology EMLCH (Energy-balanced Multihop Linear Clustering Hierarchy) routing protocol is proposed. First, the nodes are evenly clustered according to their location and distribution density; Secondly, according to the cluster head selection threshold, the election of candidate cluster head nodes is carried out in the divided clusters; Then, sort the remaining energy of the candidate cluster head nodes, and the one with the most remaining energy is selected as the next round of cluster heads; Finally, the cluster head node collects the member data in the cluster and transmits the data to the base station in a multi-hop manner. Compared with the traditional LEACH (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) routing algorithm and multi-hop transmission LEACH-ME routing algorithm simulation comparison, the EMLCH routing algorithm balances the network energy consumption, effectively reduces the network energy consumption, and extends the life cycle of the wireless sensor network.
