Blind Signal Separation Using Array Antenna with Modified Optimal-Stepsize CMA

The OS-CMA used for blind signal separation with array antenna has a problem that the stationary characteristics are not stable, although the convergence is extremely fast. This paper introduces a threshold into the stepsize of OS-CMA to realize the more stable stationary characteristics while maintaining the convergence speed. The computer simulation demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
