Development of a novel digital integration system for magnetic measurement on HL-2M tokamak

A novel digital integration system is introduced. This system not only realizes high-precision data acquisition and digital integration, but also completes the high-speed transmission of integration results and real-time data sharing among multiple plasma diagnosis modules. Utilizing analog processing circuits and four high-performance octal-channel analog-to-digital converters, the detected signals can be sampled with 100 kHz and 24-bit accuracy, while a correction algorithm is applied to minimize the integration drift. With the parallel pipeline processing of the field-programmable gate array (FPGA), 32 channel real-time digital integration is achieved. Additionally, the applications of PCI express (PCIe) platform and Direct Memory Access (DMA) technology provide great convenience for high-speed transmission of integration results. Futhermore, a reflective memory (RFM) network is used to realize real-time data sharing among multiple plasma diagnostic modules. The system has been tested in plasma discharge experiments on HL-2A tokamak, and the experimental results have confirmed that the digital integration system is able to meet the requirement of magnetic measurement on the HL-2M tokamak device.
