Diagnosis and Analysis of Abnormal Heating Fault for 35kV Dry Air Core Reactor

In order to accurately evaluate the operation state of dry-type reactor, improving the diagnosis level of equipment faults and ensure the safe and reliable running of power grid, the structure and abnormal fault are analyzed based on the infrared thermometric technology. The abnormal heating fault of reactor are researched and summarized such as the high voltage wiring board, neutral point connection board, grounding bar, pillar insulator base and DC filter reactor wiring board, etc. According to the relevant detection data and standard regulations, the reason of heating for the above different parts are carried out, and given the targeted treatment scheme. The research results show that the abnormal heating are generated by circulating current in the metal components, neutral point, grounding bar and down lead of pillar base due to the influence of leakage magnetic field of dry-type air-core reactor and equipment installation process. The corresponding faults are established, which it provide a basis for the types of abnormal heating faults in dry air core reactor.
